About Us

The Armoury is a busy community local pub that serves lagers, cask ales, gins, spirits and soft drinks and now we are excited to announce we offer delicious food too! We're located close to Stockport Train Station, Stockport County FC and Stockport College. Whether you're catching a game or enjoying a drink or two with friends, you’ll find a warm welcome and a true sense of community that embodies the heart of Stockport County.

A little more about us

The Armoury is a short walk from both the train station and Edgeley Park football ground. We have a number of pub teams, including a Darts Super League Team (some of which who have gone on to become nationally known players). All standards are welcome. The first-floor function room caters for darts event, parties, functions and meetings. The beer garden to the rear is a great place enjoy drinks and has a heated covered area.

Food

We are excited to announce that our kitchen is now open, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with you! The new menu is delicious and what is even better is that all of our sauces are made in-house! The kitchen will be serving up delicious dishes from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday to Sunday, and is closed Monday to Wednesday. Please note: On County at home match days, we’ll be offering a reduced menu. This allows us to keep things running smoothly during the football rush while still delivering the quality you expect.
