Beer is the backbone of our business and we’ve been brewing great beer for 185 years. Our Brewing and Operations teams are vital in the whole production process, from receiving the raw materials to greeting our pub operators when they deliver it through the cellar doors of a Robinsons pub, or it arriving on the shelf of a well-known supermarket.
Based at our production site in Bredbury, we have a big ‘behind the scenes’ operation ensuring each step of the process goes smoothly, each championing our reputation for great beer quality.
Most roles at our Unicorn Packaging Centre are hands on and they’re just made for people who don’t like to sit still. In this side of the business we are custodians for our beers; from brewing our beers, packaging them for shops and our pubs, to quality assurance and laboratory work. We also have departments responsible for our customers receiving their orders. That could be from receiving and picking products in the warehouse, to ensuring they’re distributed, or being the last link in the chain and transporting our products across the country. Each part of the process is a vital link in the chain.
Aswell as our brewing and productions roles, we have beer careers working with our pubs too. As you’ve probably guessed by now, beer quality is important to us and we have our own team of cellar service technicians who look after beer quality in our pubs.
We’re a business made of many times and it’s not uncommon to find many of our colleagues have family histories going back generations at Robinsons, we’re a place where people often stay.
