A little more about us

The atmosphere during the fair is vibrant and lively and well worth a visit. The Cushion, as it's known to the locals, offers a traditional bar with a separate pool and games area, and has a wide selection of cask ales, lagers and keg beers. We are a family friendly pub who like the company of well behaved, four legged friends, but they must be kept on their leads. We have large multi-screens displayed around the pub, showcasing Sky and BT Sports. There is a separate dining room which caters for larger groups and functions to host special occasions. We can also arrange a complimentary private room for business meetings, which catering can be arranged for to suit your needs, from breakfast, coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The pub has three comfortable en-suite letting rooms, all have tea & coffee making facilities, toiletries and TV's..
