Robinsons Brewery wins two Gold Medals at International Brewing Awards 2026
We have been awarded two Gold Medals at the recent International Brewing Awards 2026, and we're delighted.

Helles took Gold in the Keg Lager Class 2 category (4.5%–6.9% ABV). Brewed as a traditional German‑style pale lager, Helles is made using premium lager yeast and classic Noble European hops, resulting in a crisp, clean beer with a light bitterness and subtle floral and citrus notes.

Old Tom secured Gold in the Class 3 Dark category (7%–9.9% ABV). First brewed in 1899, Old Tom is a strong, dark ale often described as the original craft beer. It is recognised nationally and internationally as one of the UK’s leading strong ales and has a long history of award recognition.
Held every two years, the awards are judged by a panel of 30 international practising brewers. Our two Gold Medal winners will now go forward to compete for the overall Champion Trophy, with the result due to be announced at Guild Hall in London on 20th May.
Richard Edwards, Head Brewer at Robinsons, said he was proud to see both beers recognised at such a respected international competition.
