PUSS IN BOOTS FINALISTS IN GREAT BRITISH PUB AWARDS
Robinsons Brewery are delighted to announce that the Puss in Boots - pub and restaurant situated in Offerton ran by the Almond family - are finalists in the Great British Pub Awards 2022 for ‘Best Pub for Families’.
James Almond, Director, said: “We work tirelessly to make our pubs welcoming environments to all, and the Puss in Boots truly does have that something special when it comes to being a family pub. We’re in the business of selling happiness, and atmosphere is our merchandise. We have seen so many team-led incentives over the years such as the SEN menus and activity packs, we’re proud of our people and hope the judges can see this too.”
Hundreds of pubs entered the competition and were put through careful rounds of judging to determine the very best in the nation, by mystery guests and surprise visits from the judges themselves.
Ed Bedington, editor of the Morning Advertiser, which organises the awards, said: “The Great British Pub Awards recognise excellence across the UK pub world and shine a spotlight on the great work the sector does. To be a finalist in this prestigious competition is a real achievement in itself and highlights what a great operation the Puss in Boots is. To get to this stage, the pub has seen off hundreds of rival operations in the Best Pub for Families category and is one of the best in the business. I’d like to wish them the best of luck in the remaining judging stages.”
This years’ awards will be held in Manchester on Tuesday 4th October.
