ROBINSONS ANNOUNCE BBI AWARDS RESULTS
Robinsons are excited to announce a brilliant result of three awards at the prestigious British Bottlers Institute awards for 2022.
TROOPER and TROOPER IPA both brought home the gold, with Robinsons’ famous Old Tom beer scooping the diploma award.
Ed Binsted, President of the BBI commented on the awards for Robinsons in the BBI Drinks Competition: “Robinsons Brewery did wonderfully well again this year winning two gold medals and a diploma for excellence. Their Iron Maiden TROOPER beer has been a consistent winner since the brand was launched a number of years ago, which clearly shows all the hard work creating TROOPER in the first place and consistently win medals is testament to their brewing skills. The gold for their IPA was also well deserved in such a big class. Old Tom has also been a consistent winner on a number of occasions.
Ed continued: The BBI Competition is a blind tasting, the independent judges have no idea of the brands they are tasting, so for those winning awards in a competition that grows each year with the number on entries is a real compliment to the brewing team at Robinsons, they continue to do a fantastic job producing beers that not only the judges loved, but also customers in their pubs and hotels along with retail outlets. Well done, the team thoroughly deserve their awards.”
