The pub has also recently been recognised as a finalist in the Cumbria Tourism Pub of the Year category.

The Queens Head faced strong competition from the Crooklands Hotel in Milnthorpe and The Yan at Broadrayne in Grasmere. The awards celebrate the very best of Cumbria’s tourism economy and the Queens Head have displayed that they are offering fantastic quality, service and care to their visitors.
