The Wheatley Arms in Ben Rhydding has re-opened its doors on 20th November, following a three-month long refurbishment. With a rather snowy weekend, it didn’t stop the crowds coming to check out the Wheatley’s new look.

The beautiful stone pub built in 1863 pub has been welcoming drinkers, diners and travelers for years, it’s well known amongst the local community for its warm welcome and great food.

The new-look Wheatley Arms mixes contemporary with traditional whilst remaining home to cosy corners and a warm atmosphere. The 190 capacity pub with 12 guest bedrooms is already set to be a busy destination for festive celebrations this Christmas. The pub will be launching their Christmas fayre menu on 28th November, but with lots of bookings in the diary, they advise getting your plans in place to avoid disappointment.

The Wheatley Arms will be open 7 days a week serving brunch, lunch and dinner. Lunch options include smaller options and all the pub classics you’d hope to find too. Their new food menu features mouth-watering starters such as Prosciutto and burrata bruschetta and hearty winter mains such as Black pollock loin served with chorizo and mixed bean cassoulet. If you’re more enticed by pub classics, fear not, they’ve not disappeared either, with Fish and Chips, Lamb hotpot and Steak and ale pie all still being staple menu items.

Aswell as everything new, the Wheatley Arms will be relaunching its popular ‘Hooked On Wednesday’ offer, where you can enjoy Fish and Chips for just £9.95. For those early doors drinkers on a Friday, the prosecco will be pouring with a bottle of Prosecco on offer with 20% off between 5pm and 10pm.

Located just four minutes from Ilkley and 20 minutes from Leeds City Centre, the inn could serve as a great option those looking to host friends and relatives over the festive period - or even to escape for a staycation. The Wheatley Arms also has two great function rooms available, which make a great space for all sorts of events, with direct access to the beautiful gardens (for those warmer months!).
