Our pub features a cosy lounge, a spacious beer garden, and a well-equipped games room where you can play a few rounds of pool or darts. We serve home-cooked food every evening and throughout the day on Sundays, with a great selection of drinks, including delicious Robinsons cask ales.

There’s plenty to see and do near the Cock & Magpie, making us the perfect stop before or after your adventure. Just a short walk away, Cowm Reservoir offers a scenic circular trail with stunning views of the surrounding hills—great for walkers, runners, and nature lovers. Around the reservoir you can see water skis from the Water Ski Academy, where there are fully accessible and inclusive lessons are available if you want to try it yourself!

If you’re a fan of water sports, The Waterski Academy at Cowm Reservoir offers an exciting experience for both able-bodied and disabled visitors, with expert coaching in waterskiing, wakeboarding, and other activities. Just around the corner, Cowm Leisure Off-Road Centre provides adrenaline-fueled fun with motocross, 4x4 driving, and quad biking.
