The General Burgoyne is a great local country pub in Great Urswick. We have large beer garden which gets lots of sun throughout the day. We’re only 5 minutes drive from Ulverston and a 20 minute drive from Coniston!

Jo and the team warmly welcome you to The General Burgoyne, a fantastic pub whether you're looking to cosy up in the winter by our inviting log fire or relax in our spacious beer garden during the summer. Perfectly located en route for walkers and cyclists, it’s an ideal stop after a day out exploring. We offer free Wi-Fi and are dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along.
