We’re all about the quiet life here but one thing we’re not silent about is our passion for great food, brilliant drinks and amazing stays. Relax to the sound of the babbling brook that runs under our historic pub or set out on an adventure to walk the Lyth Valley, or one of the countless fells in the area. The Wheatsheaf will always offer tired explorers a warm welcome. If you enjoy proper cask ales, roaring log fires, great pub food (we think we have some of the best) and Cumbrian hospitality, then the Wheatsheaf is your home away from home. All six of our double, twin & king size rooms are super-comfortable. We pride ourselves on being one of the cosiest little Inns in the lakes.
