Longnor is not only famous as the village where the TV series Peak Practice was filmed, but also for Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, a typical village local in the heart of the Peak District National park.

A little more about us
Although very much a locals pub with the usual pub games, the pub has an excellent reputation for the home-cooked food served in the lounge and dining room. For drinkers, we have a range of Robinsons cask ale and a choice of quality wines. Across the road in a converted barn with four en-suite bedrooms which are tastefully decorated and furnished. Staying at the Cheese is an ideal base for those visiting the Peak District and the Alton Towers theme park is a short drive away.
